NEPSE closes with a 2-point gain; turnover exceeds Rs 7 billion



KATHMANDU: The NEPSE index saw a rally throughout the day but ultimately ended with a modest gain of 2.47 points, closing at 2745.36 points on Thursday.

Despite the single-digit increase, trading activity was robust.

Investors exchanged 18.88 million shares across 316 companies, resulting in a turnover of 7.19 billion rupees.

Kumari Bank recorded the highest number of transactions, with 330 million shares traded.

Among the 89 companies that saw price increases, Goodwill Finance led with a 7 percent rise.
