KATHMANDU: Nepal secured an impressive victory in their final match of the T20 World Cup, finishing their campaign on a high.

After winning the toss and opting to field first, Nepal restricted Scotland to a target of 171 runs.

Chasing the total, Nepal got off to a solid start with openers Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh building a strong foundation at the top. The duo’s composed yet positive approach kept the required run rate under control in the early overs.

Following their departure, Dipendra Singh Airee and Gulshan Jha played aggressive knocks to steer the team closer to victory. Their attacking partnership shifted the momentum firmly in Nepal’s favor and ensured a comfortable chase.

With this win, Nepal concluded their T20 World Cup journey with a morale-boosting performance, showcasing resilience and batting depth against a competitive Scottish side.
