Top leaders hold meeting to advance peace process



KATHMANDU: A meeting of top leaders from three parties, including Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli, is underway at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.

Participants in the meeting include Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, Maoist leader Shakti Basnet, and Attorney General Ramesh Badal.

The agenda for the meeting is expected to focus on issues related to the completion of the peace process, specifically the formation of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and the Commission of Inquiry into Disappeared Persons.
