RSP holding national convention to decide key dates, policies



KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is holding its first national convention in Kathmandu.

The meeting will run through Wednesday.

During this convention, the RSP will focus on several key agenda items, including organizational matters, parliamentary affairs, campaigns, party values, the candidate leadership academy, and proposed amendments to the Constitution.

RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane is scheduled to present a political report, while Acting General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti is scheduled to present an organizational report.

The meeting will also include the announcement of a national campaign and the determination of the date for the first convention of the party.

More than 1,500 delegates from across the country are expected to attend, representing constituency committees, district coordinators and deputy coordinators, provincial committees and departments, as well as central committees, and departments.
