KAVRE: The Araniko Highway has been blocked since this morning due to a landslide at Panchkhaal Municipality-8 in Kavrepalanchok.

The landslide has obstructed approximately 50 meters of the road, leaving hundreds of vehicles and passengers stranded on both sides.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rajkumar Shrestha reported that while efforts are underway to clear the debris, light and small vehicles have been redirected to their destinations using alternative routes.

A team of security personnel, in coordination with the local authorities and the Department of Roads, is working to remove the landslide debris and restore traffic flow, according to DSP Shrestha.
