Political solution requires inclusive discussions: Minister Aryal

NEPALGUNJ: Minister of Labor, Employment, and Social Security, DP Aryal, emphasized that a political solution to current challenges requires inclusive discussions involving all political parties.

Speaking at a program in Banke on Friday, Minister Aryal highlighted the inadequacy of a solitary effort by the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) to navigate the complexities at hand.

Expressing confidence in dialogue as the catalyst for resolution, he lamented the unfortunate turn of events where the pursuit of civilized politics within the parliament had faltered.

Minister Aryal underscored the forthcoming comprehensive examination of Nepali citizens engaged in foreign employment, particularly those incarcerated abroad.

He noted the establishment of the Foreign Employment Board tasked with the rescue, repatriation of deceased individuals, and provision of medical aid to those holding valid work permits.

Regarding undocumented workers, Minister Aryal underscored the ministry’s limitations in extending assistance, particularly for female laborers facing heightened risks abroad.

He stressed the necessity for strategic planning and concerted efforts to curb institutional and personal malpractices prevalent in foreign employment.
