KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives meeting, originally scheduled for 11 AM, has been postponed to 2 PM later this afternoon.

A notice issued by the parliament secretariat confirmed the rescheduling.

Currently, both ruling and opposition parties are engaged in developing strategies for the upcoming meeting.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal held a meeting with Chairman of CPN-UML KP Sharma Oli and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane.

Similarly, the main opposition party, Nepali Congress (NC), conducted its parliamentary party meeting and also organized a joint meeting of opposition parties.

The NC has been consistently obstructing meetings of both the lower and upper houses of parliament, demanding the formation of a probe committee to investigate Home Minister Lamichhane’s involvement.
