ICC permits Nepal to add Sandeep Lamichhane to T20 World Cup squad



KATHMANDU: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has granted permission for Nepal to add cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane to their T20 World Cup squad.

This decision follows the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN)’s move to lift Lamichhane’s suspension after the Patan High Court acquitted him in a rape case.

CAN has already named their 15-player group for the upcoming T20 World Cup in the USA and the Caribbean.

The process to officially include leg-spinner Lamichhane in the squad is currently underway.
