Chance of rain coupled with gusty winds today

KATHMANDU: Nepal’s weather is currently under the partial effect of local winds and westerly winds.

While the rest of the plains are mostly clear, the hilly parts of the country, including the Koshi Province, are partly cloudy. A few places in the Koshi and Bagmati Provinces are experiencing light rain.

This afternoon, the weather will remain mostly clear in the hilly areas of the Koshi and Madhesh Provinces.

However, there is a possibility of light rain accompanied by thunder, lightning, and gusty winds in one or two places within the hilly areas of the Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali Provinces.

Additionally, there is a chance of light snowfall in one or two places in the high hills and Himalayan areas.

Tonight, the weather will stay mostly clear in the hilly regions of the Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati Provinces, including Gandaki and Karnali.

There is still a possibility of light rain with thunder, lightning, and gusty winds at one or two locations in the hilly areas of the Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces.
