Nepal Aushadhi Ltd launches three new products on Sunday



KATHMANDU: Nepal Aushadhi Limited has commenced the production of three additional categories of drugs starting today.

Kailash Kumar Paneru, the General Manager of the company, announced that the manufacturing of Centrimine, Amzit, and Amzit-DF tablets has begun as of today.

The company plans to produce 150,000 tablets of each medicine daily, as per the official statement.

Prior to this, the company’s product line included Jeevan Jal, Cetamol, distilled water, glycerin, folic acid, and hemodialysis fluid and powder.

Paneru stated that the company is capable of manufacturing more drugs if the government provides support.

Established in 2029 BS as a government entity, Nepal Aushadhi Ltd used to manufacture 120 types of medicines. However, it was closed in 2062 BS and was revived in 2074 BS with the production of Cetamol.

With the addition of these new products, the total number of products offered by the company has now reached 11.
