KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) has announced the initiation of the police personnel adjustment process in accordance with constitutional provisions.
Spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai issued a statement on Friday, confirming the commencement of the adjustment process by a designated committee.
The five-member committee, chaired by the head of the administration division, comprises members from various divisions including policy, planning, monitoring and evaluation, as well as representatives from the Nepal Police and Provincial Police Services.
Bhattarai emphasized the ministry’s commitment to carrying out the adjustment of police personnel in alignment with the Constitution and the Police Adjustment Act of 2076 BS.
The adjustment process aims to streamline the deployment of police personnel within Nepal Police and Provincial Police Services, ensuring efficient and effective law enforcement across the nation.
