KATHMANDU: In a gripping encounter of the Prime Minister Cup National Men’s National Cricket Tournament, Tribhuvan Army Club has set a target of 98 runs for Bagmati Province to secure victory after winning the toss and opting to bat first.

Bagmati Province, having been given the opportunity to bowl first, successfully restricted Tribhuvan Army Club to a total of 97 runs in 27.1 overs.

Now, Bagmati Province faces the task of scoring 98 runs in 258 balls to emerge triumphant in the match.

Noteworthy performances from the Tribhuvan Army’s batting lineup include Bibek Yadav with 11 runs, Bhim Sarki contributing 19 runs, and Binod Bhandari scoring 28 runs.

Surya Tamang emerged as the standout bowler for Bagmati Province, claiming five wickets.

Supporting the effort, Pratish GC and Rijan Dhakal secured two wickets each, while Krijan Gurung took one wicket for the team.
