Govt functioning on common agenda: UML leader Pokhrel

BHAKTAPUR: CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel has stated that the government is prioritizing the country’s development above all else.

Inaugurating the second municipal convention of the CPN-UML Suryabinayak Municipal Committee, he emphasized that the coalition government, led by party Chairman KP Sharma Oli, has moved past previous setbacks and is now focused on development with a positive outlook.

He remarked, “Although the government is led by CPN-UML, it has not been possible to make progress with a single decision or agenda. Instead, the government is operating on a shared, common agenda.”

Pokharel stressed that both the state and the people must work together to build the country, asserting that with political stability, the nation will quickly advance on the path to prosperity.
