Westerly and local winds shaping weather patterns



KATHMANDU: The country is currently experiencing a partial influence of westerly winds, along with local winds affecting the hilly areas of the Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.

As of Wednesday morning, the weather in the hilly regions is partly to mostly cloudy, while the rest of the country remains mainly clear, according to the Weather Forecast Division.

This afternoon, the hilly areas are expected to continue being partly to mostly cloudy, while the remainder of the country will see partly cloudy to mostly clear conditions.

The Division has indicated a possibility of light rain in one or two locations within the hilly regions across all provinces.

Tonight, the forecast suggests that the hilly areas will remain partly to mostly cloudy, with the rest of the country continuing to experience partly cloudy to mostly clear weather.

According to the bulletin issued by the Division this morning, there is a likelihood of light to moderate rain in one or two areas of the hilly regions in the Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.
