KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) KP Oli has reaffirmed Nepal’s commitment to its established policy of rejecting any interference in the United Nations (UN).

Addressing the House of Representatives prior to his participation in the United Nations General Assembly, PM Oli emphasized that his focus would be on advancing the national interest.

“Nepal is a sovereign, free, and independent nation,” he stated.

“We will uphold our national pride and prioritize protecting our legitimate national interests. Nepal maintains friendly relations with its neighbors and expects the same mutual respect in return,” he stated.

PM Oli further noted that his discussions at the General Assembly would concentrate solely on the nation’s challenges and concerns.
