Gold prices hit record highs today



KATHMANDU: Gold prices have surged to new record highs, continuing an upward trend for the past three days.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders, the price of gold has risen by Rs 500 today, reaching Rs 157,300 per tola.

On Sunday, gold was priced at Rs 156,800 per tola, making today’s price the highest ever recorded.

On Friday, gold had already climbed by Rs 3,000 to 156,300 per tola, and the trend of setting new records has persisted since then.

Silver prices have also increased today.

The price for silver has been set at 1,915 rupees per tola, up from Rs 1,900 yesterday. On Friday, the price of silver was Rs 1,860 per tola.
