KATHMANDU: A massive flood in the Dudhkoshi River in Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality-5, Solukhumbu district of Nepal, inundated 20 houses on Friday.

According to Devi Pandey Khatri, the Chief District Officer of Solukhumbu, five people who were stranded in the river have been rescued, while one individual remains missing.

“We are still in the process of gathering further information and details of the destruction,” said Khatri.
