Govt to award Rs 300,000 each to players participating in CAVA Women’s Volleyball League



KATHMANDU: The government has announced a reward of Rs 300,000 each for the Nepali players who participated in the CAVA Women’s Volleyball Nations League, where Nepal finished as the runner-up while India clinched the title.

During a Cabinet meeting held on Thursday, it was decided that 14 members of the Nepali volleyball team will receive the financial award.

In addition to the players, the head coach will be awarded Rs 200,000, while the manager, assistant coach, and physio will each receive Rs 120,000.
