US Deputy Secretary Verma meets with PM Oli



KATHMANDU: US Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources, Richard R. Verma, held a meeting with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Friday.

Verma arrived in Kathmandu earlier today and is set to visit New Delhi, India, from August 17-22.

During his visit to Nepal, Verma met with PM Oli at Singha Durbar shortly after his arrival.

The US Embassy confirmed that Verma will engage in discussions with government leaders, officials, development professionals, and business leaders while in Nepal.

This visit marks the first high-level US delegation to Nepal following the formation of the new government.
