Gold price sets new record in domestic market



KATHMANDU: The price of gold increased by Rs 900 per tola in the domestic market on Tuesday.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, fine gold is now priced at Rs 147,800 per tola, while standard gold is trading at Rs 147,100 per tola.

On Monday, fine gold was traded at Rs 146,900 per tola, and standard gold at Rs 146,200 per tola.

Meanwhile, the price of silver decreased by Rs 10 per tola, bringing it to Rs 1,875 per tola.

For reference, one tola is approximately 11.66 grams.
