Dr. Govinda KC ends his hunger strike

KATHMANDU: Dr. Govinda KC, who has been on a hunger strike since May 11, ended his strike on Thursday.

Dr. KC began his strike demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

On Wednesday evening, he was admitted to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital at Maharajgunj after his health deteriorated.

In a press statement, Dr. KC expressed that the government had neglected his strike.
