NA meeting postponed following NC’s obstruction

KATHMANDU: The meeting of the National Assembly has been postponed due to obstruction from the main opposition party, Nepali Congress (NC).

Speaker Narayan Dahal has rescheduled the meeting for 1 AM on Friday.

The Nepali Congress has been obstructing parliament sessions, demanding the formation of a parliamentary committee to investigate Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane’s involvement in the cooperative fraud case.

Meanwhile, a meeting of the House of Representatives, scheduled for 4 PM, has also failed to start as parties have not reached an agreement.
