Kathmandu’s temperature likely to reach 32 degrees Celsius today



KATHMANDU: The temperature in Kathmandu Valley is likely to remain between 30 and 32 degrees Celsius today (Thursday), according to the Weather Forecasting Division.

Kathmandu Valley’s temperature on Thursday morning was recorded at 19 degrees Celsius.

According to the Division, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly areas, including Koshi and Madhes provinces and generally clear in the rest of the Terai region.

Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at a few places of the hilly region of Bagmati province, Gandaki province and Karnali province and at one or two places of Karnali province and Sudurpashchim province.

In the next 24 hours, thunder and lightning will occur at a few places of the hilly region of Koshi province and at one or two places of the hilly region in Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces.

The Department has urged the people to remain alert as there will be partial impact on daily life as well as agriculture, health, tourism, mountaineering, road and air transport in those areas.
