17 injured in jeep accident in Baglung, one critical



BAGLUNG: 17 people were injured in a jeep accident in Baglung’s Dhorpatan last night.

One of the injured is in critical condition, police said.

According to District Police Office Baglung, a jeep numbered Ga 2 Cha 2314, which was heading towards Arnakot from Burtibang Bazar, met with an accident at the head of Dhorpatan 5 last night.

District Police Office Baglung DSP Bijay Yadav said that the condition of 19-year-old Sharmila Bhandari of Dhorpatan 5 is critical among the injured.

She was given general treatment at Burtibang Primary Health Center and taken to Pokhara for treatment at night, police said.

Most of the injured are women and children.

The driver said that the accident occurred when the brakes failed on the slippery road.
