UML Chair Oli claims to lead peace process to final stage

Stresses collective implementation of Social Justice



KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML Chairman and former Prime Minister KP Oli, has announced that the peace process has reached at the final stage in the initiation of the party.

UML Chairman Oli made this statement during the Global Social Forum 2024, organized by the Nepal Intellectual Council, which took place in Kathmandu on Friday.

He asserted that the current Constitution has established the rights, including social justice, and emphasized the need for collective implementation of it.

Oli claimed that during the NCP-led government, significant efforts were made to connect economic development with social justice.

The former Prime Minister highlighted the achievements of the UML-led government in various sectors such as women’s rights, education, clean drinking water, and health insurance in the field of social security.

The UML Chair expressed his commitment to achieving the goals of a prosperous Nepal and happy Nepali, emphasizing that socialism could propel the country forward and eliminate all forms of division.

Furthermore, he advocated for international policies and mutual benefits on the basis of social justice.
