Two Indian nationals held with 35 kgs banned drug



BARA: Police have nabbed two Indian nationals from Bara district for possessing almost 35 kilograms of banned narcotics charas.

The Superintendent of Police (SP) of Bara, Suresh Prasad Kafle, said that 42-year-old Safir Ali and Mohammad Abjal, 44, of Bareth district in Uttar Pradesh, India, were held on their way to Birgunj from Hetauda.

A team of police personnel deployed from Amlekhgunj Area Police Office also detained a vehicle with an Indian number plate used by the accused.

Kafle stated that the two have been kept in police custody for further investigations after receiving permission from the Bara District Court.
