BAJHANG: An accident unfolded near Sailabgad in Talkot Rural Municipality, involving jeep SE 1 J 868 en route from Bajhang to Chainpur.
Sushmita Kathayat lost her life in the incident that occurred on Thursday evening.
Meanwhile, the jeep’s driver, Rajesh Kumar Kadal, and co-driver Kamal Kathayat are currently undergoing treatment at the Chainpur District Hospital, police said.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Bharat Bahadur Shah from the District Police Office in Bajhang stated that despite efforts to rush Sushmita to the district hospital for medical attention, she was declared dead upon arrival.
The accident occurred when the jeep lost control and plunged some 70 feet off the road.
