NOC raises prices of petroleum products



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced a hike in the prices of petroleum products, effective from today.

The increase affects petrol, diesel, and kerosene, with a two-rupee per liter surge.

However, there is no change in the prices of LP gas, utilized for cooking, and aviation fuel.

As per the updated pricing structure, in the first category areas including Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhganj, Belbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj, the new rates stand at Rs 169.50 per liter for petrol and Rs 157.50 for diesel.

Moving on to the second category regions, Surkhet and Dang will witness petrol prices at Rs 171 per liter and diesel at Rs 159 per liter.

In major cities such as Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal, the revised rates for petrol and diesel are set at Rs 172 and Rs 160 per liter, respectively.
