Standing Committee meeting of Unified Socialist to continue today



KATHMANDU: The Standing Committee meeting of the Unified Socialist is scheduled to continue today.

So far, 18 leaders have shared their views during the meeting, which has been taking place at the party’s central office in Aloknagar since last Wednesday.

Today’s session will feature senior leaders Beduram Bhusal, Pramesh Hamal, Ghanendra Basnet, and General Secretary Ghanshyam Bhusal, who will present their perspectives.

The meeting will conclude with remarks from party Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal.

The Standing Committee is expected to address a range of issues, including the assignment of responsibilities to leaders in key positions such as department heads, district in-charges, and mass organization leaders.

Other topics on the agenda include the promotion of party policies, strengthening the party’s structure, preparations for upcoming elections, and addressing political and geopolitical challenges.
