KATHMANDU: The temperature in the Kathmandu Valley has dropped to 15 degrees Celsius as of today (October 15).

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, the Valley recorded a minimum temperature of 15 degrees Celsius on Tuesday morning.

This marks a decrease from Monday’s minimum of 17.2 degrees Celsius, indicating a drop of more than 2 degrees Celsius within 24 hours.

Notably, on Sunday, the minimum temperature was even lower, at 14.7 degrees Celsius.

Meteorologists define the highest temperature in a 24-hour period as the maximum temperature, while the lowest is referred to as the minimum temperature.

Typically, the minimum temperature is recorded at 8:45 a.m., and the maximum is measured at 5:45 p.m. each day.
