Ishwori Devi Neupane
KATHMANDU: Ishwori Devi Neupane has been elected unopposed as the Chairperson of the Parliamentary Hearing Committee.
Neupane, a lawmaker from the Nepali Congress, was elected during the committee’s meeting on Wednesday.
As the sole candidate for the position, the senior member of the committee declared Neupane the winner.
She is scheduled to be sworn in by Speaker Dev Raj Ghimire later today.
