BHAKTAPUR: An accident occurred in Gathaghar, Bhaktapur, where a truck hit a scooter, resulting in the death of a female rider.
The truck struck the scooter and dragged it for approximately 100 meters, leading to severe mutilation of the rider’s body.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been confirmed.
However, a bag containing books was found at the accident scene, suggesting the victim was a student.
Following the accident, an angry crowd vandalized the truck.
The incident has caused the Bhaktapur-Kathmandu road to be closed temporarily.
