Pakistani PM Sharif congratulates KP Oli on Nepal premiership

KATHMANDU: Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated KP Oli on his appointment as Nepal’s Prime Minister.

In a statement to X, PM Shehbaz Sharif extended his congratulations to PM KP Oli on assuming office as Nepal’s Prime Minister. He expressed his best wishes for PM Oli’s success during his tenure.

“We look forward to working with PM Oli to enhance bilateral relations and foster regional cooperation between Pakistan and Nepal,” PM Sharif mentioned in his message.

Likewise, Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has congratulated Dr. Arzu Rana on her appointment as Nepal’s Minister of Foreign Affairs.

In a statement to X, the Pakistani Foreign Minister extended congratulations to Rana on assuming office as Nepal’s Foreign Minister and expressed best wishes for Rana’s success during her tenure.

“Looking forward to working with Your Excellency for further strengthening bilateral relations and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation,” the message said.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Nepal, Abrar H Hashmi, who was present at the swearing-in ceremony at the President’s Office, Sheetal Niwas in Kathmandu on Monday, also congratulated Prime Minister KP Oli.
