PM Oli calls first cabinet meeting at 5:30 pm



KATHMANDU: Newly appointed Prime Minister KP Oli has called for his first cabinet meeting.

The meeting is scheduled for today at 5:30 pm.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the meeting will discuss current issues.

Oli took the oath of office and secrecy earlier today.

Oli has also expanded the cabinet to include 22 members, incorporating representatives from the Nepali Congress, Janata Samajwadi Party, and Loktantrik Samajwadi Party.

Formerly dethroned at the Supreme Court’s order on July 12, 2021, CPN-UML Chair Oli has returned to Singha Durbar as Prime Minister, three years after, with support from Nepali Congress, the largest party in the House of Representatives.
