Lumbini province announces Rs 38.97 billion budget for FY 2024/25

KATHMANDU: Lumbini Province has unveiled a budget of Rs 38.97 billion for the fiscal year 2024/25.

Finance Minister Chet Narayan Acharya presented the budget during the provincial assembly meeting on Saturday.

According to the budget, Rs 11.24 billion has been allocated for recurring expenditures and Rs 24.58 billion for capital expenditures.

The provincial government has committed to ensuring access to clean drinking water and has prioritized agriculture, irrigation, tourism, education, and health.
