Addressing the 74th anniversary of the Public Service Commission (PSC), he underscored the importance of selecting employees who can become capable managers and drive meaningful change for the public.

Vice President Yadav urged the PSC to maintain its image as an institution that provides justice to the present generation and instills hope in future generations.

He suggested that the employee selection and qualification assessment processes be revised over time to remain effective.

He highlighted that the PSC’s principles of fairness, quality, inclusion, neutrality, equal opportunity, and privacy have earned public trust, which must be preserved.

Praising the PSC’s role in fulfilling its constitutional responsibility of selecting civil service employees, Vice President Yadav recognized its contributions to the permanent government.

PSC Chairman Madhav Prasad Regmi also addressed the event, noting that the PSC was established as a leading institution for the selection and recruitment of employees in civil service and state-run corporations.

He mentioned that the PSC’s objective, timely, and credible processes extend to security agencies and state-run corporations providing public services, enhancing the PSC’s trustworthiness.

Chairman Regmi shared that a committee, coordinated by a PSC member, was formed to recommend reforms for the test process, aiming to improve the curriculum and testing system.
