Textbooks to reach students ahead of enrollment: Janak Education Centre

BHAKTAPUR: The Janak Education Materials Centre Limited is gearing up to distribute school textbooks across the nation before the commencement of the academic year 2081 BS.

To achieve this goal, the Centre aims to complete the printing of school textbooks by March 28.

Subsequently, distribution will commence from nine distribution centres spanning all seven provinces starting March 29.

Managing Director of the Centre, Anil Kumar Jha, announced that 95 percent of the total textbooks from grades 5 to 10 have already been printed.

“The remaining textbooks will be printed and distribution will commence from March 28, ensuring that students have access to all required textbooks before the academic year begins,” stated Jha.

Currently, the Centre’s printing press is operational round the clock, producing 100,000 textbooks daily.

The Centre aims to print a total of 17.5 million textbooks for the upcoming academic session.

Jha further assured that the printing of the remaining 1.8 million textbooks will be completed within two weeks, ensuring timely distribution.

Jha affirmed that there will be no shortage of school textbooks this year, as experienced in previous years.
