KMC mandates registration for fruits, vegetable, cold store, meat, and fish shops within 15 days

KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has issued a directive requiring fruits and vegetable shops, nurseries, cold stores, meat, and fish shops operating within its jurisdiction to register within 15 days.

The local authority has urged these businesses to promptly register and submit their details to the Department of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry of the metropolis.

Failure to comply with the notice and operate without proper registration will result in legal action, warned the local authority.
