Kathmandu records 6.1°C minimum temperature on Tuesday morning



KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Valley experienced a slight dip in early-morning temperatures on Tuesday, with the minimum temperature recorded at 6.1 degrees Celsius.

At the same time on Monday, the minimum temperature stood at 6.2 degrees Celsius. However, in the official measurement taken at 8:45 am, Kathmandu’s minimum temperature was recorded at 5.7 degrees Celsius.

The official minimum temperature for today will also be measured at 8:45 am, and meteorologists say it is likely to be slightly lower than the early-morning reading.

The Weather Forecasting Division records minimum and maximum temperatures across the country, including Kathmandu, on a daily basis. The minimum temperature is measured at 8:45 am, while the maximum temperature is recorded at 5:45 pm.

The minimum temperature represents the lowest temperature of the day, while the maximum temperature represents the highest.
