Shree Airlines successfully executes emergency landing at TIA



KATHMANDU: The Shree Airlines aircraft that encountered technical issues during its Surkhet to Kathmandu flight has successfully executed a safe landing at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.

Confronted with technical problems, the crew of the Shree Airlines aircraft promptly sought permission for an emergency landing at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.

According to TIA sources, on Thursday evening, a Shree Airlines plane arriving from Surkhet safely touched down in Kathmandu after facing an issue with its flaps.

Upon identifying the problem, the pilot requested authorization for an emergency landing at Tribhuvan International Airport.

To facilitate the emergency landing, the aircraft circled the Kathmandu skies for a considerable period before safely touching down at TIA around 6 pm, the sources said.
