NEPSE index plummets by double digits, closing at 2062.03 points



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index witnessed a decline, plummeting by double digits.

On Thursday, the stock market experienced a downturn, registering a decrease of 14.46 points, ultimately closing at 2062.03 points.

A total trading volume of 3 billion 86 crore 91 lakh 18 thousand 741 rupees was recorded, involving the buying and selling of 1 crore 14 lakh 7 thousand 264 shares from 305 different companies.

During Thursday’s trading session, the share prices of 79 companies saw an increase, while 163 companies witnessed a decline, and 7 companies maintained stability amidst the market fluctuations.
