KATHMANDU: In a crucial match of the ICC CWC League 2, Namibia found themselves in trouble while chasing a modest target of 133 runs against Nepal as they lost their fourth wicket.

Sompal Kami emerged as the key figure for Nepal, clinching the third and fourth wickets at the Tibhuvan University cricket ground.

Earlier in the match, Lalit Rajbanshi had struck to claim the first and second wickets for Nepal.

Opting to bowl first after winning the toss, Namibia had managed to contain Nepal to 132 runs in 41.1 overs during the first innings.

Nepal’s spirited performance, particularly Kami’s impactful bowling, signals a strong comeback for the team in the ongoing league.
