NOC slashes petroleum price by Rs 1 per liter

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has revised the price of petrol, diesel and kerosene and cut down their price by Rs 1 per liter effective from 1 am Tuesday.

According to the NOC, with the fresh slash in the prices of the petroleum products, petrol will cost Rs 163.5o per liter for Group A and Rs 165 per liter for group B and Rs 166 for Group C while diesel and kerosene each have been fixed at Rs 153.50 per liter for Group A, Rs 155 for Group B and Rs 156 for Group C.

NOC has included Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Nepalgunj, Bhalbari and Birgunj under Group A, Surkhet and Dang under Group B and Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal under Group C.

The revision in the price was considered as per the new price list sent by the Indian Oil Corporation.

However, the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas has been unchanged.
