NPL: Kathmandu facing Pokhara today



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Premier League (NPL) will kick off on Saturday morning with a match between Pokhara Avengers and Kathmandu Gurkhas.

The match will begin at 9:00 AM at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

Pokhara will be led by captain Kushal Bhurtel, while Karan KC will captain Kathmandu.

This match is crucial, as both Pokhara and Kathmandu are tied with four points in the NPL standings.

Biratnagar also has four points but leads based on run rate.

Janakpur Bolts, with only one loss in the competition, leads the table with 10 points, followed by Sudurpaschim in second place with eight points.

Karnali is in third place with eight points, while Chitwan sits in fourth with six points.

In the afternoon, Chitwan will face Janakpur in another NPL match, which will start at 1:00 PM.
