Former CEO of Saptakoshi Development Bank receives three years and three months jail term

KATHMANDU: Former CEO of Saptakoshi Development Bank, Nabin Subedi, has been sentenced to three years and three months in jail.

A bench comprising Chairman Tek Narayan Kuwar and members Ram Bahadur Thapa and Murari Babu Shrestha of the Special Court passed the sentence on Friday.

Previously, the court had convicted Subedi in a money laundering case.

Today, 12 days after the verdict, the court announced the sentence and a fine for Subedi.

The court also imposed a fine of Rs 23,654,401.20 on Subedi.
