KATHMANDU: The government has revealed plans to achieve self-sufficiency in fruit, animal, and fish production.

President Ram Chandra Poudel made this announcement while unveiling the government’s policies and programs for the fiscal year 2024/25 on Tuesday.

President Poudel outlined the government’s targets, aiming for independence in fruit production within the next five years and in animal and fish products within two years.
