NEPSE witnesses single digit decline on Sunday

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) experienced a slight decline on the first trading day of the week on Sunday.

NEPSE dipped by 2.35 points today, closing at 2023.35 points.

A total of 7,795,033 shares from 320 companies were traded, amounting to Rs 3.6 billion.

Among the companies trading shares on Sunday, 127 observed an increase in share prices, while 108 witnessed a decline. Shares of 10 companies remained stable.

Shares of Srijanshil Microfinance saw a positive circuit of 10%, whereas Gurans Microfinance experienced a negative circuit of 10%.

On Sunday, the sensitive index recorded an increase, while the float index decreased by 0.19 points and 0.07 points, respectively.

Out of 13 subgroups, shares of 4 subgroups increased, while shares of 9 subgroups decreased.
