Embassy urges caution as Iran launches aerial assault on Israel



KATHMANDU: Iran has launched dozens of aerial drones and missiles at Israel, marking a widely anticipated reprisal attack.

As the situation escalates, the Embassy of Nepal has issued a cautionary advisory to Nepali nationals residing in Israel, urging them to avoid unnecessary outdoor activities.

The embassy emphasizes the importance of adhering to security protocols and staying informed about directives from the Israeli government.

In the event of an emergency, Nepali citizens are encouraged to contact Kamal Bahadur Shrestha at (0528289300) or Sanjay Kumar Shah at (054-5582077).

Iran’s retaliation follows an incident on 1 April, where its consulate in Syria was struck, resulting in the deaths of seven IRGC officers, including a high-ranking commander. A

lthough Iran accuses Israel of orchestrating the attack, Israel has neither confirmed nor denied its involvement.
