Rain forecasted in four provinces, including Bagmati



KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has reported a partial influence of westerly and local winds in Nepal.

The Division has predicted that the hilly areas of the country, including Koshi, Bagmati, and Madhesh provinces, will experience partly to mostly cloudy weather, while the rest of the country will remain clear.

The weather will be partly cloudy to mostly clear in the hilly areas this afternoon, according to the Division.

There is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali regions, as well as at one or two places in other hilly areas.

Light snowfall may occur in a few places in the high hills and Himalayan areas of Koshi and Bagmati provinces, and in one or two places in other high hill and Himalayan regions.

At night, the weather will remain mostly clear in the hilly areas of Gandaki and Karnali provinces, including the Sudurpaschim Province, while other areas will be mostly clear.

There is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning in a couple of places in the hilly areas of Gandaki and Karnali provinces at night.

Light snowfall may occur at one or two places in the high hills and Himalayan areas of Gandaki and Karnali provinces, the Division said.
