UML Chair Oli stresses national unity for safeguarding interests

KANCHANPUR: Emphasizing the paramount importance of national unity, Chairman of the CPN (UML) and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli asserted that collective cooperation among all political parties is essential for safeguarding the nation’s interests.

Speaking at a program inaugurating a ward office building for Dodhara Chandani Municipality-6 in Kanchanpur district, Chairman Oli underscored the significance of unity in ensuring the country’s territorial integrity, independence, and overall national welfare.

“Unity is pivotal not only for combating corruption but also for taking decisive action against financial misconduct,” he emphasized.

Chairman Oli further emphasized that political harmony is indispensable for the advancement of development initiatives.

He stressed that the effectiveness of public service delivery reflects the government’s commitment to serving the people’s needs.

“I am committed to addressing the challenges faced by the local community and initiating solutions,” affirmed the former Prime Minister.

During the event, Mayor Kishor Limbu highlighted the pressing issues confronting the local populace, including the severe problem of Mahakali River erosion and developmental hindrances posed by the Shuklaphanta Reserve.

In addition to inaugurating the ward office building, Chairman Oli conducted a site inspection of the proposed four-lane motorable bridge over the Mahakali River and the location earmarked for the dry port, demonstrating his commitment to addressing local development needs.
